I’m an Integrative Healthcare practitioner with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals on their healing journeys of mind, body, and spirit. My path to this work has been deeply personal and shaped by a diverse range of life experiences, including six years of active duty service in the U.S. Air Force.
My academic and professional training reflects a lifelong commitment to learning and growth. I hold a BA in Psychology, and in 2002, I became a Certified Massage Therapist. My desire to understand healing at a deeper level led me to earn dual MAs in Transformational Leadership and Social Change and in Five-Element Acupuncture from the Traditional Acupuncture Institute in Columbia, Maryland in 2009. I later completed my Doctorate in Acupuncture in 2020.
Over the years, I’ve pursued advanced training in Nonviolent Communication, Compassionate Inquiry, Psych-K, and Somatic Experience. Each modality has enriched my ability to offer trauma-informed care and help uncover the root causes of dis-ease. My approach is grounded in respect, empathy, and a deep belief in the body’s innate wisdom and capacity to heal.
I’ve been fortunate to live, work, and study internationally, as well as contribute my expertise to the renowned Department of Integrative Medicine at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. These experiences have deepened my understanding of diverse healing traditions and the importance of cultural humility.
At the heart of my work is a passion for partnership and empowerment. I believe in walking alongside each person as they cultivate greater balance, vitality, and peace—not just for themselves, but for the collective well-being of our world.
