What to expect

Your first visit starts with a conversation.

Before treatment begins, Lesley takes time to understand what brought you in, what you have tried, what your symptoms feel like, and what you hope will change.

Your session may include acupuncture, body-based observation, lifestyle discussion, and practical recommendations. The goal is not to force a one-size-fits-all protocol. The goal is to create care that makes sense for you.

Common reasons people ask about acupuncture

Support shaped around the person, not just the symptom.

Fertility support

Acupuncture may be part of a supportive fertility care plan for people trying to conceive, preparing for IVF or IUI, or navigating the stress and uncertainty of fertility treatment.

This care is not presented as a guarantee of pregnancy or a replacement for reproductive medicine. It is supportive, individualized care designed to help you feel more grounded, informed, and cared for during a demanding season.

Stress, anxiety, and nervous system support

Many people come to acupuncture because their body feels stuck in stress. Sessions can offer a quiet space to slow down, regulate, and reconnect with what your body is telling you.

Acupuncture is not a replacement for emergency mental health care, therapy, medication, or medical treatment. It can be a supportive part of a broader care plan.

Headaches and migraines

Headaches and migraines can have many causes. Lesley's approach begins with careful listening, lifestyle context, and individualized treatment.

For some people, acupuncture may be a helpful part of headache or migraine support, especially when paired with attention to sleep, hydration, stress, diet, posture, and medical guidance when needed.

Care boundaries

Supportive care, not overpromising.

Acupuncture is not a cure-all, and Lesley does not promise specific outcomes. Her role is to listen carefully, provide skilled treatment, and help you explore a grounded path forward.
